How Does This Work If I Have an Audiology Extern with me in the Clinic?

This works the same as a typical appointment! The extern can simply sit next to you, can be invited on their own computer or laptop, or can be out of sight listening — just be sure to ask the patient’s permission at the beginning of the appointment. If you are using headphones or earphones while conducting the appointment, be sure to have an audio splitter handy and have the student bring earphones or headphones if needed.
